The Local Government Unit of Taguig City (“Taguig”) puts premium to the privacy and security of personal data entrusted to it by its clients. Taguig strictly adheres with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA)) and is committed to cooperate fully with the National Privacy Commission (NPC). Taguig regards your data privacy with the utmost importance. Taguig is devoted to deliver efficient and timely government service while ensuring the security of the data privacy.

“Personal information” refers to any information whether recorded in a material form or not, from which the identity of an individual is apparent or can be reasonably and directly ascertained by the entity holding the information, or when put together with other information would directly and certainly identify an individual. Personal information shall include “sensitive personal information”. For their precise definitions, please refer to the DPA.

Republic Act No. 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018) requires the LGU-Taguig to measure the satisfaction of its clients who avail of its services. To comply with the said law, Taguig collects personal information from its clients. The data collected includes the name, contact number, gender, and age group. Furthermiore, the personal information collected may be used to fulfill the services that you have requested, communicate with you, and improve our services. This informaion will be used within the City Government of Taguig and will not be shared with any outside parties.

Taguig implements reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
